I nod. "They've dealt with some scary things," I say softly, trying to read his expression. He's as bad as nii-san at being unreadable. Or as good at it. I don't know. If I get to know this Ryouma-san better I'll probably learn to read his face more expertly, too, like I can sometimes with nii-san.
